Very wonderful work on a sad subject.
i’ve been fascinated with harelips for years–i love drawing them and i think it’s a lovely anomaly. the captions are misleadingly negative but its more a mockery of “normalcy” and functionalist judgment (hence the title.) thanks for your thoughts, jack!
